On the reverse side of the 2016 1 oz Wolf Privy Canadian Silver Maple Leaf is the image of the iconic sugar maple, which features on the national flag and countless sports logos across the nation. To the bottom-left of the image is a small wolf privy, while additional engravings include “Canada” and the coin’s purity, weight, and metal content.

The coin’s obverse face features the right-profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty’s effigy was created in 2003 by Susanna Blunt and first appeared on Canadian currency in 2004. This is the third-generation image of the Queen.
